Electric Girls:

Earn Badges

Girls earn badges for learning new skills and showing acts of leadership and kindness. Badges provide motivation for girls to challenge themselves and be the best thinkers and builders they can be. For example, our "curiosity" badge is earned when a girl takes an extra step to learn something new!

Learn New Skills

Girls learn the fundamentals of electronics and programming, and use these new skills build their own inventions. They are guided through the design process, learning how to ideate, build prototypes, and make iterations of their designs.

Join a Community

Girls make new friends and become a part of a growing community of young learners and leaders in technology! Electric Girls counselors are all female role models who foster a safe environment for girls to learn and explore.

Become Mentors

Girls who complete at least one Electric Girls program have the opportunity to become Electric Girls mentors. Mentors are role models for younger girls (they teach lessons, assist other girls with their projects, learn more advanced skills), and have greater independence while designing and building more complex inventions.
